The concept of The Power Horse Dubai Football 7s is to provide an opportunity for every man, woman and child that can kick a football, to play in a large professional style tournament, that will grab the attention of football enthusiasts.
Our lofty ambitions started with the inaugural Dubai Football 7s tournament here in Dubai in March 2010.
A rip roaring success, over 3300 players competed in a single weekend, becoming the largest ever football participation event to be held in the Middle East.
For the 2012 event, our focus is increased on the development of grass roots football, with the intention of The Power Horse Dubai Football 7s to become the regions best football tournament for amateur players.
Whether you are an enthusiastic amateur, a not so fit player, an aspiring youngster, a WAG, a football fan, or just a reluctant hanger on, we want the tournament weekends to offer an event that will be enjoyed by all.
This years tournament weekends also benefit from free admission to all spectators on all days, maximizing the accessibility of the event for all.
